FUNCTION

As an International Key Account Manager, you serve as the primary point of contact for both sales teams and key account clients. You handle a wide range of specific requests, including product information, non-standard solutions, pre-sales activities, complex projects, and advanced technical inquiries.

You play a key role as an interface between internal departments and external stakeholders, particularly regarding technical, pricing, and project follow-up aspects.

You are part of the International Sales Department and report directly to the Head of International Sales.

Your responsibilities include:

Pre-sales & Technical Support


  • Prepare and follow up on quotations upon request: analyze cost structures, calculate margins, discounts, and selling prices
  • Provide local relay and support to the sales team for technical questions, customizations, and project analysis
  • Maintain regular contact with key account clients and distributors
  • Conduct project studies and feasibility analyses
  • Manage and monitor non-standard specifications in collaboration with the engineering departments
  • Oversee and track technical specifications for sales and maintenance contracts
  • Identify and report any inconsistencies or issues in technical documentation
Distributor & Key Account Support


  • Provide fast and efficient support to distributors and major projects
  • Act as a product expert, delivering both technical and commercial support in close coordination with the two production sites
  • Validate additional discounts, special offers, and respond to specific client requests
  • Ensure distributors receive timely and effective information, support, and solutions
  • Support complex business opportunities such as kits and customized solutions
Communication & Coordination

  • Manage communication in case of issues with key accounts (delays, payment issues, or technical problems)
  • As the main point of contact, centralize specific requests and represent internal teams to sales representatives and key account clients
  • Participate in events, trade shows, and industry associations to promote our products
  • Contribute to internal discussions related to product development, organizational changes, and other topics by sharing market and customer feedback

Profile

  • Your strong interpersonal skills will be your greatest asset in building relationships and facilitating communication with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on, curious, and proactive, you actively seek out information and regularly challenge assumptions and ongoing projects
  • Customer-oriented with strong business acumen, you demonstrate creativity and innovation in problem-solving
  • You have strong prioritization and time management skills, enabling you to effectively manage your workload
  • With a degree in Industrial Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering, you have at least 3 years of experience in international sales of technical products; alternatively, with a business degree, you have at least 3 years of experience in technical product sales, preferably within the electromechanical sector
  • You have a genuine interest in technical products
  • You are fluent in both French and English
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and comfortable working with ERP systems
  • Flexible and willing to travel, you are prepared to allocate your working time as follows: 50% in Belgium, 25% in France, and 25% worldwide
