FUNCTION
Under the responsibility of our Group Finance Controller, you will join a fellow controller and be responsible for controlling activities for our Automatic Systems site. You will work closely with operational teams to understand production challenges and develop a solid understanding of the different processes and flows.
Your responsibilities:Industrial Controlling
Ensure industrial controlling activities, with the following main objectives:
- Ensuring the reliability of cost prices and their regular monitoring,
- Analyzing inventory and participating in physical stock-taking processes,
- Ensuring data reliability (in particular information provided through the ERP system),
- Updating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
Contribute to monthly financial closings in compliance with Group standards and deadlines, including:
- Inventory closing (valuation, monitoring of work in progress, calculation and monitoring of provisions for depreciation, etc.),
- Preparing cut-off entries and other provisions,
- Preparing financial reports (orders, revenue, P&L),
- Analyzing actual costs (direct and indirect) compared to forecasted costs.
Ensure the reliability of cost accounting across all activities in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Financial & Budgetary Control- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets in coordination with operational teams, as well as in forecast revisions,
- Monitor the profitability of activities (by project / client / product / business unit),
- Track variances between budget and actuals and propose corrective actions in collaboration with operational teams.
- Validate purchase requests,
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support on ongoing projects,
- Act as Local Key User as part of the deployment of a new ERP system,
- Provide support during internal and external financial audits.
Profile
- You are recognized for your rigor and strong organizational skills, enabling you to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- You are able to handle a high workload and perform well under pressure, relying on a structured approach and proactive deadline management.
- Your critical thinking, along with strong analytical and synthesis skills, allows you to leverage financial data and provide relevant decision-making support tools.
- With excellent interpersonal skills, you collaborate effectively with various departments to foster strong teamwork and cross-functional synergy.
- You hold a university degree in audit, management control, or accounting, and have at least 5 years of significant experience in industrial controlling.
- You have an excellent command of Excel and are comfortable using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, ERP systems, and the MS Office suite.
- You have full professional proficiency in French; knowledge of English is considered an asset.
